Filipino Cultural School (FCS) is a non-profit organization that strives to educate the youth about Filipino heritage through dance, music, language, and history. Our program encourages a sense of Filipino pride and identity while creating a space of community through relationships and involvement. Students from ages 5 to 15 are invited to participate in our Youth Summer Program, where they learn more about Filipino culture through a variety of different classes. Coffee hour and free workshops for parents included. 

The first summer program launched in 1965 under the Sampaguita Women's Circle, Inc. This year's FCS graduation will take place on August 8th at PMA in Downey.

Youth Summer Program Details

• Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

• June 6 to August 1, 2025 (No session on July 4)

• Graduation on August 8 at St. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy (PMA) in Downey, CA

Each enrolled family will receive two free tickets to the FCS Graduation on August 8th at PMA in Downey. 

Registration ends on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 11:59pm.

Paying Full Tuition

If you would like to pay the full tuition, choose an enrollment option below based on how many students you’d like to enroll.

1 Student = $495

2 Students ($495 + $470*) = $965

3 Students ($495 + $940*) = $1435

*$25 off automatic sibling discount

Making a Down Payment

If you would like to make a non-refundable down payment to reserve a spot for your child at YSP, choose a down payment option based on how many students you’d like to enroll. Tuition balance must be paid by June 6.

1 Down payment for one student = $199

2 Down payments for two students = $398

3 Down payments for three students = $597

Returning Student Discount

If your child has participated in a previous Youth Summer Program and will be returning this year, we are offering a $25 off discount on the regular price of $495. This discount is stackable with the sibling discount ($25 off per sibling). Please pick any of the “Returning student” options in the enrollment options section below near the bottom of the page to pay the full tuition.

1 Returning student = $470

2 Returning students = $940

3 Returning students = $1410
